📖 Going Solo

Going Solo is Roald Dahl's marvellous evocation of his wartime exploits. Continuing the story he began in Boy, it is a series of superb stories and daring deeds, telling of African safaris, encounters with the enemy and pertinent advice on what to do to avoid snake-bites and what not to do if you find yourself in a lion's mouth! It is hard to imagine a more colourful and exciting autobiography.
